I was speaking with another future blogger for this site about the narcissistic quality of the blog, as well as, the risk for embarrassment that both blogging and making art present. I guess that what it really comes down to is the possibility for embarrassment via the act of sharing anything… so we’re going to share a lot of thoughts here because we’re brave and able to withstand vulnerability..
OR.. perhaps we’re extremely narcissistic and self righteous and feel that our thoughts and ideas need to be shared with the world for the betterment of humankind. We’re actually not worried about being embarrassed because we think that we’re awesome and we’re really just here to nourish our ego!! So go ahead and read on, we’re looking forward to your complimentary comments.
BUT, I must admit that some of us have tapped into our masochistic urges. As we wait in our comfy self- loathing dominions, we dream of all the awful and ridiculing things that might be said to or about us.
…well anyhow, this blog will consist of many voices, we will use our real names as well as pseudo names and….
